We are a collegiate summer baseball team, located in Manteo, NC and playing in the Premier Collegiate League. Founded in 1997, the Daredevils played their first 15 seasons in the Coastal Plain League, and from 2013 through 2019, they played in the Tidewater Summer League. Following a three year, pandemic related break, the Daredevils return to the field for the 2023 summer as members of the Premier Collegiate League.

Thursday, June 6th – Daredevils Game Cancelled due to weather

With Tropical Storm Andrea’s outer rain bans rapidly approaching the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and with a Tropical Storm warning in effect, the owners of the Outer Banks Daredevils have cancelled tonight’s game between the Daredevils and the Tidewater Drillers. We will post information about the make up date for this game once the league has rescheduled it.

Thursday, June 6th is Dare County Schools Appreciation Night

Thursday, June 6, 2013 has been designated at Dare County Schools Appreciation Night, as the Outer Banks Daredevils, our friends and fans, and the students and parents of Dare County Schools come out to celebrate the last day of school and to recognize and say a special thank you to all the teachers, administration, staff and volunteers who teamed up to make the 2012/2013 school year another great success for our children. Please join us at the ballpark this Thursday as the Outer Banks Daredevils take on the Tidewater Drillers, park opens at 6:00pm, first pitch at 7:30pm.

Daredevils Win 8 – 3 over Stars on Project Purple Night

An exceptional effort by Cale Henke led Outer Banks Daredevils to an 8-3 win over Lynnhaven Stars on Tuesday.

Henke kept Lynnhaven Stars off the board during his seven innings of work. Henke allowed three hits, one walk and struck out eight.

Will Miller did his best to jumpstart the offense for Outer Banks Daredevils, reaching base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the second and eighth innings.

The game was never in doubt after the second, as Outer Banks Daredevils scored three runs on an error, a passed ball, and an RBI single by Miller.

Outer Banks Daredevils increased its lead with four runs in the sixth. A hit into a fielder’s choice scored Conner Hall for the inning’s first run. That was followed up by Tommy Kane‘s single, plating Miller.

An one-run eighth inning helped bring Lynnhaven Stars within six. A passed ball fueled Lynnhaven Stars’ comeback. Finally, Josh Brooks induced an inning-ending ground out from Ryan Blake.

Join us Tuesday, June 4th for Project Purple Appreciation Night

The Outer Banks Daredevils and OBX Project / Project Purple are teaming up this Tuesday night to turn the park purple. We are asking all of our project purple members and their families to join us at the ballpark Tuesday night, June 4th as the Outer Banks Daredevils take on the Lynnhaven Stars. Park opens at 6:00pm and game time is 7:30pm. Everyone wearing a purple shirt this Tuesday will get in the park free of charge. Come out and enjoy America’s favorite pastime and cheer on our home team.

Daredevils come from behind in bottom of 9th to beat the Mid Atlantic Pirates 4 – 3

Outer Banks Daredevils defeats the Mid Atlantic Pirates 4-3

Eric Schenck-Joblinske went 2-3 as Outer Banks Daredevils took home a 4-3 victory over the Mid Atlantic Pirates on Friday. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the seventh inning.

The Mid Atlantic Pirates couldn’t get anything going as long as Ryan Jones was on the mound. The Mid Atlantic Pirates managed just one hit off of the Outer Banks Daredevils pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out seven during his five innings of work.

We want to thank the Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball Association for joining us tonight at the park, we really enjoyed having all of the future Daredevils with us tonight and hope to see everyone back at the ballpark this Tuesday, June 4th, as your Daredevils take on the Lynnhaven Stars. Park opens at 6:00pm, game time 7:30pm.

Friday Night – Babe Ruth Baseball/Softball Appreciation Night

Friday Nights Outer Banks Daredevils Game vs the Mid Atlantic Pirates will be at the First Flight Baseball Complex in Kill Devil Hills, NC and has been designated as Babe Ruth Baseball/Softball Appreciation Night. All members of the Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball teams who come to the park wearing their uniform will be allowed in free of charge along with their families. We encourage everyone to join us at the ballpark Friday, May 31, 2013. Park opens at 6:00pm and game time is 7:30pm.

Daredevils defeat Warriors 9 – 5

The Outer Banks Daredevils defeated the Virginia Warriors 9 – 5, powered by a 2 run homerun by Raheim Cooper (VA Tech), and solid pitching from both the starter, Josh Vales (NSU), and Colby Toler and Hunter Early both working out of the bullpen.

Dare CASA Appreciation Night Tonight

We want to invite all of our fans and visitors alike to come out to the First Flight Baseball Complex tonight as the Outer Banks Daredevils take on the Virginia Warriors and as we honor the Dare Coalition Against Substance Abuse (Dare CASA) and their great staff. Our goal is to help Dare CASA achieve their mission to raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse and promote healthy life choices for all of Dare Counties citizens. Daredevils Win 13 – 10 in first game of 2013 season

We want to thank all of our fans for coming out and supporting us tonight as our Outer Banks Daredevils defeated the Greenbrier Knights 13 to 10 to open the 2013 season. We would also like to thank Mike Grimmer, USMC, for throwing out our first pitch, you can always count on a Marine to be at the front of the line. We would also like to thank Ms. Barbara Mintor, who sang our National Anthem, and of course our players and coaches. We hope to see everyone again Thursday night, as we honor and recognize Dare CASA, Dare Coalition Against Substance Abuse, and as our Daredevils will take on the Virginia Warriors, park opens at 6:00pm, game time 7:30pm.
