Following a three year, pandemic related break, the Daredevils return to the field for the 2023 summer as members of the Premier Collegiate League.
The Outer Banks Daredevils will open the 2016 season at home on Monday night, June 6th. We hope all of our fans will make plans to join us for Opening Night, and throughout the season, for great collegiate summer baseball.

Outer Banks Daredevils name Chris Childress 2015 Most Valuable Player!
The Outer Banks Daredevils have named Chris Childress as their 2015 Most Valuable Player. Childress led the team in hits, doubles, triples, runs scored, slugging percentage, on base + slugging percentage, batting average, and batting average with runners in scoring position. A threat on the bases, he stole 10 bases, and defensively, Childress had an All-Star caliber year as well, taking away doubles in the gap from his centerfield position, and daring anyone to run on him.
“Childress is a really good ballplayer, has a great sense for the game, really good instincts, has a plan, works hard, and has a great attitude. We had alot of great kids with us this summer, but I am sure all of them would agree that Childress was our MVP, on the field, in the clubhouse and in the community” said Coach Dooley.
Chris Childress is from Mechanicsville, VA, where he attended Hanover High School before attending College of the Albemarle for his first season of collegiate baseball. Chris Childress (2015 Daredevils MVP / College of the Albemarle) joins former Daredevils Connor Hall (2013 Daredevils MVP / Longwood Univ) and Dylan Harvey (2014 Daredevils MVP / West Va Tech) in the Daredevils Record Book. Congratulations Chris Childress, Outer Banks Daredevils 2015 Most Valuable Player!

Thank you again for your support during our 2015 season. We continue to believe in the value of providing our vacationing families, as well as our local residents, with this great family entertainment and we appreciate all of our sponsors, host families and fans help in making collegiate summer baseball possible in the Outer Banks. As in past seasons, weather was unkind to our efforts, with extreme heat early in the season, followed by rain in the later half, but we still were able to enjoy a great season, with over 10,000 fans attenting Dardevils baseball games this summer, and cheering our home team on to a first place regular season finish and to another league championship.
.
During our season, we were able to raise awareness and support for many of our great local charities, and our players volunteered over 500 hours of cummunity service work here in the Outer Banks. You can be proud of our Daredevils team as they were winners on and off the field, and represented our area, our sponsors, and the game of baseball with respect, class and a sincere joy in being a part of our community.
The 2015 Season has been concluded as our players have had to return home to prepare for the fall semister of college.
The Greenbrier Knights and the Outer Banks Daredevils have been awarded Co-Champions for 2015.
We would like to thank all of our host families, players, coaches, interns, sponsors and staff for all of your hard work and dedication this season. Thank You!
